I had the honor of participating with several extremely talented artists for this project. We created murals to be placed throughout the downtown area of Aurora, Indiana. The theme was to depict life at the turn of the 20th century and the rest of this amazing collection is currently displayed on the outside walls of businesses in Aurora.
My building portrait was a building that once stood on the corner of 2nd and Main St. until it was destroyed by fire. This mural is one of several displayed on the same original location.
My second mural was inspired by a water pump from that era as well as photos from the local library.
